That article doesn't necessarily say he will direct it, just his production company will be involved. Hopefully that means his influence will be...minimal.

Although I can't lie, I kind of like most Michael Bay films. He's great at melting brain cells and blowing **** up, and I love that kind of crap.

I assume the Ninja Turtles will drive around the sewers in tanks launching missiles and Shredder will be 3-stories tall, and like, super powerful.

Also, Splinter will be played by Megan Fox in tight clothes, and instead of imparting wisdom, Splinter will simply bend over alot.

Megan Fox makes any porn actress look like she has the acting chops to get an Academy Award. Oddly enough, if you are watching these movies just for Megan Fox, porn is an easier route.

Harder to watch porn in the living room when the family is still awake though, I can get away with Megan Fox bending over a lot though.

While I loved TMNT cartoons as a kid, all of the movies (which I actually haven't been able to watch any the whole way through) to date have been really bad.

I agree that Michael Bay can take a good idea and execute it horribly, but IMO he can't do much worse than has already been done.

I thought the first 2 movies were both as good as they could be for movies about giant turtles. I dont' know if I ever saw #3.

I'm probably the #1 Micheal Bay hater out there, but can you really not improve upon the original? It wasn't a good movie to begin with so what's the harm.

The original series did put out the best impromptu freestyle rap/dance about ninjas that are mutant turtles that I can recall from any film.
