Have you ever heard of X-Bionic? It is pretty pricey stuff, but apparently it works. The Sports Science show tested it and proved it to work.

I have always had good luck with REI. When I lived in Denver i got alot of my clothes there. I believe there is one in Minneapolis if you are up that way or otherwise here is the link to their skibby section on their website. They have exofficio and patagonia as well as some other brands.

1st BCT would not need any high tech undergarments...We would just do our job and not worry how comfortable the boys would be....because that is how 1BCT does things but...yeah...really, I have no help for you, I am an UnderArmor guy and wouldn't have thought to ask for anything else. Seems like it true, you can learn something new every day.
I'd second the smartwool microweight boxer briefs...unlike nike or under armour they don't smell awful.
Wear what you like and pat the boys down with some Gold Bond or baby powder. Dry and fresh.
