Good deal at Best Buy?

Best Buy Offers Xbox 360, Blue Label Laptop Combo | BestStuff

I have been looking at getting a new laptop and either a 360 or PS3. Does this mean I should get the 360?

I'm not a huge fan of the 360 Arcade, lack of storage really hurts if you want the DLC from games like Guitar Hero or Rock Band. A HDD for the 360 is pretty expensive.

PS3 is a far more versatile machine (I'm a 360 owner). I wish I could afford to move to PS3. If I were you, I'd hold out.

I don't really play either, but my husband has both a PS3 and a 360. He plays the 360 a ton more than he does the PS3 - it's at least a 10:1 ratio, probably even more skewed than that. He likes the games that come out for it a lot better.

I have a ps3 and I played my friend's 360 and I didn't like how the 360 tried to appeal to younger kids, while the ps3 is geared towards adults, plus if you want a wireless router, decent HDD space, and HDMI, you'll pay a lot more for 360, while it's all built in on the ps3, plus the ps3 plays blurays.

I went to Best Buy, I did not like the laptops. I am going to hold out.

My wife watched me play a bit of the FIFA game on PS3 at Best Buy. She does not care about this type of stuff at all but she was blown away by the graphics. Not to mention we need a DVD player in the basement...
