Bolder Boulder 10k
Anyone else run it...or has ever run it before? Just finished this morning. 50,000+ runners running throughout the town of Boulder, finishing in a full stadium at Folsom. It was an absolute blast. I would most definitely recommend it to any running enthusiast out there who has never done it. The views throughout the day are spectacular and the Memorial Day celebration after the Elites finish was pretty awesome.

I've run it about 10-12 times and it was killing me not to be able to run today (injury). Looked like a great morning to run and it is a great event.
Did you come in for the race, or do you live in the area?

I've run it 3 times - and it's the only 10k I've ever run. It's an awesome event. Running into into Folsom Field, with the stands packed and all the cheers, makes you feel like a real champion.

I went into it with a knee that was questionable and I paid for it after the second mile. This was the first year that I have heard people openly complain about it. I think they could have spaced the waves out a bit because there were just sooo many people on the streets. My favorite sign: "Race Summit: (However many thousand of feet above sea level). Sea level is for sissies." Aside from the masses of people, it was an absolutely gorgeous day for the run.

Good for you though. I wish I had the ambition to get myself ready to do that. I just played in a 3-man best ball tournament today and was wore out.
I'm on Twitter too: Tre4ISU
Or so I have read. -

I'd probably jump in the race a block or two outside of Folsom field and then continue inside like I ran the whole thing.. I'd collect my applause and be on my way. Re: Bolder Boulder 10k
We were in Boulder last week for a niece's graduation. Um, us 'flatlanders' could hardly walk up a hill without needing a little break for the lungs to catch up. I cannot imagine running!... I admire those who can can run it! -

I'll try and throw some up when I get home or I'll try to find some online to show the stadium. I'm pretty sure there were more people in the stadium today than when ISU played there 2 years ago. Turning that final corner and looking into the stadium was just an incredible rush. I ran alone so I kind of felt dumb, but I couldnt stop smiling the entire way around the final lap.

Re: Bolder Boulder 10k
I ran it twice. It's impressive coming in to Folsom and running that last loop. Do they still hand out the paper hats?

Re: Bolder Boulder 10k
I'm driving out Friday and coming back Tuesday. Wife and daughter at flying. I got the short end of that deal.
