Drinking Alone

Well, I'm sick of talking about expansion and it is Friday, so I'd thought I'd bring this up. Any of you guys ever get ramp, tooled drunk alone? I do it pretty often. Usually throw on some vinyl and get smashed (Willy and the Poorboys earlier and right now Black Sabbath Vol. 4). I generally follow this model.

So what do you guys think, is getting hammered alone a precursor to paranoid schizophrenia or a path to enlightenment?

i did it for years and really enjoyed it but ultimately my wife put the kibosh on it. now im painfully sober.

I hear ya, sometimes akclone is just fine with akclone too and you can play whatever tunes you want and nobody *******..the bad news is there's no one to remind you that you have a pizza in the oven at 2 am. Unless you count the smoke detector as a person.

I drank alone while changing the oil in my truck today. Does that make me a productive alcoholic? Or just a normal alcoholic?

I used to get **** drunk by myself, with my dog, with anybody or anything. I did that from when I was 18, all through college, and after work till Halloween last year. So basically I got loaded every night for 12 years. I got pancreatitis, and been sober since.

I'm generally a very social drunk, but there are certain occasions which just call for getting **** hammered by yourself.

The moment we get the official word that ISU is relegated to the MAC will be one of those moments for me. Thankfully, my GF understands, is prepared, and will be getting out of the way for that one.

I have done this twice. Once I found out a girl cheated on me and another I found out an acquaintance had died far too early. Never felt bad about either instance.
