    Men's Wedding Rings

I recently proposed to the gal and her ring is taken care of. To the guys - any recommendations on a men's ring in terms of comfort or anything like that?

No suggestions, but it did take me a year and a half to get used to it!

I just got married and am wearing a tungsten ring. I like it. It is impossible to scratch.

    Re: Men's Wedding Rings

We just got our wedding rings last week. I got a solid plain yellow wide gold band. We ordered them online and were able to get some good deals on them. Problem with non-gold rings is that they can be impossible to resize if necessary. I remember my dad had to cut his ring off a few years ago because his fingers had gotten too big. He was able to have it resized and welded back together.

FYI- she got a narrow plain yellow gold band that she is going to have welded to her engagement ring.

Don't wear a ring, it is more comfortable. I have not put mine on in probably 10 years.

I am wondering the same thing too. Got her engagement ring at Iowa Diamond but am really up for getting my band anywhere. I don't like gold so I'd go with white gold or a different metal. I wouldn't wear it except for the weekends, work reasons.

Above all, I wouldn't spend too much on your ring. A co-worker of mine got a very expensive band and then lost it at a resort in Cancun.

    Re: Men's Wedding Rings

The tungsten rings are pretty masculine looking and as has been said never scratch. They are cheaper than gold/silver, but shop around for a jeweler that will replace the ring anytime your ring size changes as they are impossible to resize.

Of course, if you want to go for the finer metals, do it.

    Congratulations on the engagement.
