Best Fast Food Value
I spend a lot of time driving around the state. Also spend a lot of time grabbing food for the road. What do you guys think is the best fast food/convenience store value for food, or even best food at one of those places in general?
Personally I have become a huge fan of QT and the 2/$2 jalapeno cheese dogs. Then a fountain drink and I am out the door for around $3.
Also like the corndogs there.
Casey's food I think tastes the best but for the price I could hit up a buffet in town.
How great is it to be able to get already made pizza rolls???!!!!

I love Wendys as well, but its the only fast food chain that can cause my body to liquify food that fast. Im curious as to their secret dietary ingredient.

Depending on what part of the state you're in, if you come by a Kwik Star or Kwik Trip on a Wednesday, I'd stop in there. They have an item for $1 every Wednesday and it rotates every week. Sometimes you can get a slice of pizza for $1, then next week it could be a chicken sandwich or cheeseburger and such.

Wendy's or caseys 2 slices and a fountain drink for 3.99

Also, I don't think value meals have much value any more. It seems like when they started offering them, you basically were getting either the drink, or fries for free. Now I don't think you really save much.

Taco Bell's value menu is good, and the $2 meal deals are awesome. Taco Bell® | $2 Meal Deals
Taco Bell and Wendy's are the two best values right now, IMHO.

When in Ames, Jeff's Pizza has two enormous slices and a pop for $5. Otherwise, I go for the BK $1 doubles.

Arbys has a sweet new value menu, lots of variety, and its cheap.

My dad and I travel a lot. What we do before we hit the road is buy some bags of chips. Which takes the place of the fries. Then buy a 12-pack of pop and throw them in the cooler. That way we can stop at Arbys and get 2 or 3 of the junior roast beefs instead of paying $8 per person for a full meal.

Tasty Tacos is the best. Whenever I'm in town I stop in to grab a few flour tacos.

BK Doubles. How could I forget about those. Throw in the value rings and you've got a great meal.

Had a stop at KFC yesterday and spent 3.49 on a BBQ sandwhich, side salad, and a water. Not bad
