I like the little ☼ things on the end.
Sounds like some major damage in Minnesota today. 2 people were killed in one county and apparently a tornado hasn't killed more than 1 person in Minnesota in 17 years.
I was out golfing and could see the wall of clouds-- HOLY ****! I couldn't even see the end of it!
Now THAT'S what I call a line of thunderstorms!
Same line from Kansas up to Northern Wisconsin. Impressive.
Several tornados around the Albert Lea area tonight. Kiester got hit, the city of Albert Lea dodged a bullet.
Shopko Dept Store in Mason City had water running out of it; supposedly the roof collapsed.
The gust front on the storms is very evident on radar right now from the marshalltown area down to sw of des moines.
This one has been a show around 11:15 tonight. I was driving past the empty fields near the new Ankeny police station and there was extremely bright flashes of lightning every few seconds. It was awesome.
Another line bearing down on the area, actually am a little surprised how strong the storms look.
