I don't keep up very well with apple. Did they make this one 4g or is the 4 just for the 4th revision of the phone?

Re: Got my iPhone 4
Early upgrade price is $199, sold old iphone 3gs for $300, so it worked out okay.
$60 for a single line data plan? The old one is $30, $60 for two I guess, but that's pretty much in line with other carriers. I'll stick with the $30 unlimited on my line as long as I can, I think those days are numbered for at&t and verizon most likely. sprint, maybe it'll hold out longer, but I thought they had already done away with the 4g unlimited.
I don't do signatures. Blondes, brunettes, and red heads are a different story. -
Re: Got my iPhone 4
T-Mobile, surprisingly, will have the closest thing to 4G here I bet, with the super fast 3g.
at&t has really improved around here, I get 4-5 bars most everywhere around wdm and downtown now, and received a text in response to their app notifying them of poor reception that a new tower was going up in 2-3 months.

Not quite. Sprint followed Verizon and AT&T in placing a 5GB cap on their 3G data cards, but they don't have a cap on 3G data on phones or 4G data on any kind of device. It is still all you can eat.

I'm just about ready to pull the trigger on an EVO. A guy at work just picked his up and I'm in love.

The funny thing is I don't really even like Apple. I primarily use PC's. If you asked my friends they would say I'm a Microsoft guy. I go through 4 to 5 cell phones a year. I keep coming back to the iPhone though. It sucks that it has to be Apple that makes the best stuff. I keep getting all the latest Androids, but they just aren't there yet. I wish Microsoft had gotten Windows Mobile right when they had the chance.
When the iPhone first came out I bashed it. ATT sent me a free iPhone when the 1st gen ones were about 6 months old. I liked using it. I felt a little dirty using it.
I know I'm not alone though. I know a lot of people who have iPhones and it's the only Apple device they own.

I would consider getting the new iphone if i could get the monthly rate below $60 after fees w/ texting... if at&t starts handing out discounts like candy (as sprint does) to make that happen, i'd probably make the switch
right now i'm just hoping sprint gets a droid 2 type phone with a physical keyboard within the year, then i can drop this palm pre

They added a cap to data usage while roaming though. But that is waved with the EVO's $10 extra per month.
