Got my iPhone 4

ATT got my phone here a day early. Really nice phone. The screen has to be seen in person. Really impressive. It's very thin; almost feels weird to hold it's so thin. Feels really dense; not heavy, but it's a solid device.

My contract isnt up for another year. I wonder what it would it would cost to cancel my contract and then get the phone for $199. Think I could do that??

I also saw the back of the new iphone scratches easy so be ready for that. Do call drops seem better or is that still a problem?

The back on my 3GS didn't scratch and I never used a case. I imagine the 4 will be fine also.

I have no problem paying $400 for a phone but I just can't get past paying $60/month for the data plans on a cell phone.

I also can't get past that I have to carry a BB for work where they've disabled everything. Can't see carrying 2 phones.

Friend just got a Droid and it's very cool. Seems to be a good compromise between a BB and an Iphone.

Thought I just heard that AT&T bumped up their early termination fees for smart phones to $350. Add that to the 199 and you are up to $550. Might as well just buy the new phone for the full retail price and you can keep your number and not deal with the cancelling and starting a new contract bs.
