    Des Moines Boating ?

    So I am getting boared with Saylorville lake and the busy ramps. However, I don't want to drive to far to stick the boat in the water tonight. I am thinking about trying out the river. But, I am a little nervous as I have never boated on a river before. I have seen other ski boats out there. A couple of questions that maybe you can help with?

    ~Has anyone took there boat out on the river in DSM?
    ~Would it be a bad idea with the hgih waters?
    ~Where is the best place to drop in at?
    ~Any other suggestions???

    You don't want to be on the DSM river right now. To much Debris. Go to Red Rock.

    It is a private lake, so you either have to sneak on or know somebody that owns land there.
