Emmy Nominations
Drama: Breaking Bad, Dexter, The Good Wife, Lost, Mad Men, True Blood Comedy: Curb Your Enthusiasm, Glee, Modern Family, Nurse Jackie, The Office, 30 Rock Variety, Music & Comedy: The Colbert Report, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Real Time with Bill Mahar, Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien Reality Competition: The Amazing Race, American Idol, Dancing With The Stars, Project Runway, Top Chef
It should be interesting to see if the Emmy's follow their usual procedure and give a former winner a win during it's last year (Lost), otherwise I don't see anyone beating Mad Men. Comedy, I could see Curb's season long Seinfeld reuninon show story arc winning it for them
Also very telling that Coco's version of the Tonight Show got nominated, but Jay & Dave did not.
Discuss.

Re: Emmy Nominations
I wouldn't be surprised to see The Tonight Show win. It would be a giant "Scr3w You" to NBC

Re: Emmy Nominations
Prett-ay, prett-ay, pretty good nominations in my opinion.

Re: Emmy Nominations
And my winners are...
Dexter
Modern Family
The Daily Show
Top Chef
I was a victim of a series of accidents, as are we all. -
Re: Emmy Nominations
I am very happy to see Modern Family make the list. That was a great show right out of the gates. I am also surprised The Office made it. That show has been going downhill for quite some time. To a lesser extent, the same can be said about 30 Rock.
As far as Variety, you can't go wrong with Daily, Colbert, or Conan.
I never watch dramas or reality so I have no opinion on those.

Oh man if Conan wins that is gonna be one helluva acceptance speech. That would be some must watch TV.

Re: Emmy Nominations
The Amazing Race owns the reality show competition winning the award every year it has been presented (7 consecutive).
I am disappointed The Big Bang Theory wasn't nominated for best comedy, and John Lithgow for Dexter. He was incredible last year. Hopefully this will be the year Michael C Hall finally wins.

Re: Emmy Nominations
I just saw that Modern Family was nominated for 5 supporting actor/actress awards. That is a pretty frickin solid cast.

Drama - LOST
Comedy - Curb Your Enthusiasm
Variety - The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien
Reality Competition - The Amazing Race
What network is hosting the event? If it's NBC....they won't allow Conan to win, right? (I hope he does.....he should have been there forever.....biggest mistake in TV history...they just threw away about 20 years of viewership of a younger generation in the US with that BS move.)
