I doubt anything is going to happen, maybe a week in jail. The evidence is old and weak, and the D.A. is not going after a public figure unless he has something pretty solid, otherwise it looks like the D.A is prosecuting as a publicity stunt.
I read that there is evidence that his girlfriend had sent him emails telling him that he needs to cough up some money or those tapes with the racist rants would go public. It sounds like she could be in a little bit of trouble as well.
What ever happened to truth, justice and the American Way?
Surprisingly, South Park's portrayal of Mel Gibson as a crazed, poo-flinging maniac (who makes good movies) appears to be pretty close to the truth. He'll always be Mad Max to me though.

Just listened to it. I had already heard this one and I wouldn't classify it as horrifying. Just some crazy guy ranting at his ex girlfriend. What amazes me is the fact that he seems to want her to confirm that she has implants. They have a kid together so I would think he should have figured that out.
They say country music speaks to the heart. Unfortunately, it has to go through your ears to get there.
