Stay and Play Golf Courses
I am looking for places around the midwest to go stay and play some golf. We are looking to have about 8 of us go some where and stay in a condo or something like that.
I know of Eagle Ridge in Galena, IL but was wondering what other places there would be.
Thanks for the help.
Re: Stay and Play Golf Courses
Rend lake, IL has a nice 27 hole course, with a lodge and condo's. We go there every 4th of July and have a family reunion, play golf, and boat.

Kohler, WI.........some of the most beautiful courses in the world. bring a credit card though, a bit pricey.
Re: Stay and Play Golf Courses
There is a ton of areas around the Brainerd Lakes to stay and play, I have played at Madden's and have a membership at Cragun's. I have heard great things about Deacon's Lodge at the Grandview Lodge and hope to play it in the next couple weeks. Not sure how far you are looking to travel but there is plenty of golf to be had in this area.

Brooks golf course in Okoboji is pretty nice. 27 holes of golf and a day on the water... can't beat that.
Re: Stay and Play Golf Courses
Did Craguns last year, would do that again. Really nice course, nice people, and reasonable prices. Did Riverside this year, that was ok. Have golfed Brooks but didn't realize it was a stay and play, but nice course.

All three at Grandview Lodge are awesome as well. Tough to find another place in the US with 6 4 1/2+ star rated courses all within 30 min of each other.

Burlington is great. Great course. Linked up with a Casino. Which is connected to an arcade, bowling, go carts. And the A squad from the KC Royals is in the back yard.
