Metallica, no one else compares in my book.

The only bigger turnoff than finding out a woman smokes, is finding out she's a Husker fan. -

Re: Favorite artist/band
Going to see my favorite cover band tomorrow in Livermore: Vic Ferrari. Dallas Clark has brought them there the last couple of years during the Livermore days, kick *** outside concert. They play classic rock from the 70s and 80s. This will be my 9th time seeing them and they never get old. Vic Ferrari.com -

I would say O.A.R. is probably my favorite band, they aren't in any way the most talented musicians, but their music is always fun and easy to listen to. Like someone mentioned earlier, they seem to be more real and down to earth compared to DMB.

Re: Favorite artist/band
After all these years, still The Doobie Brothers. These guys (Tom Johnston, Patrick Simmons and the additions) still play well over 100 dates per year and are better than ever. The songs you heard on the radio don't come even close to comparing to some of the driving rock and rhythm and blues buried on their old albums.
