    Crazy lightning out to the northwest of Johnston. Don't know that I've seen anything like it. 10pm

    That was about the most awesome show I have ever seen. We are about 60 miles away from where the radar indicated the storms were. We watched it for over an hour.

    I've seen similar lightning shows before. Especially my junior year of HS we were playing Council Bluffs TJ and a storm was rolling through NE Nebby, NW Iowa, and SE South Dakota. It was pretty cool to play during it. But eventually the game got called in the third quarter cause they were moving in.

    Watched it from the 2nd floor of our house in Ankeny. It went on over an hour. Heat lightning is awesome.

    I was at a going away party at a frat last night. Saw the lightning from afar, very, very cool. I was sad I couldn't get a good picture of the show.
