I read the article earlier today via a link from a friend's Facebook link, and the more I think about it the more depressing it gets to me.

She's definitely a gutter slut, but what is depressing to me is why she's a gutter slut. Playing an armchair psychologist, she had no sense of self-identity, so in order to get one she emulates a promiscious character from a popular television show, and hardly a character worth emulating at that. I hope she finds a man to settle down with, she is attractive, but man, good luck with that.

I wonder how feminists (and I'm NOT anti-feminist by any means) who have in the past applauded shows like "Sex in the City" for its portrayal of sexually empowered, strong independent women will respond to this article.

Probably "Good for her. It has been looked at as acceptable for men to do this for years. It is okay for women to do so as well."

Why are you angry at her and calling her names, and why does this make you depressed? She is not hurting anyone or causing problems, its her life and her box, she can do what she pleases with both. It is a free country, and sex is not evil, though it is a little nasty when you rack up her kind of numbers.

I would certainly recommend wrappin it up if you ever run into her though.
