    PC questions

    I'm a little stumped.

    I just added 4gb of ram to my PC but it's not showing up correctly.

    Windows 7 64bit
    Asus mobo

    Exact same ram as the previous 4gb of ram

    When I go to properties it says:

    Installed Memory: 8.00 gb ( 4.00GB USEABLE)


    ??????

    Pull both sticks out, put one stick in and power up your pc and see if it notices the 1 ram stick. Repeat with the other stick, if it reads both then stick them both back in and reboot your machine.

    It could be that you don't have the stick squarely in the slot or it could be a type not supported by your pc.

    Good call. I took all 4 sticks out and put them back in and now I'm good to go.
