Friday Confession
Alright CFers, time to get whatever you want off your chest. Used to do this quite a bit but haven't for a long time now.
Now that its football season, everything else is suffering. I can't get anything but football off my mind and look forward to 2:30 when I leave work and head to school. Kickoff is 2 weeks from today.
Along those same lines, I found myself this week letting seniors that weren't in the 2 deep get away with screwing up plays, while I focused most of my energy on the 2-deeps and younger guys. I didn't consciously do it, but realized after that I did and felt bad about it.
Besides coaching football, I don't consider my other activities to be very "manly." I have 2 daughters, work a white collar job, and live in a townhouse where all maintennance is taken care of. Last week I did my own minor repairs to my car, and put in a new storm door (included drilling!) and felt like Tim the Fricken tool man Taylor. Bring on the next project baby. (door is a little crooked BTW, oh well)
I am taking my daughters with me when I go shoe shopping later today. I think that cancels out every somewhat manly thing I did in the last week.
I have been on iowaprepfanatic a bunch and it pisses me off when I read about teams that think they are the team to beat this year and are set to have good years, then I realize I am a Cyclone fan and that is me when it comes to college football.
That's enough for now, What do you need to get off your chest?

Re: Friday Confession
I almost scheduled a wedding on the same weekend of the ISU-KSU game in KC. My wife was far more upset about it than I was.

Re: Friday Confession
I watched the entire hour episode of Jersey Shore last night. -
Re: Friday Confession
I ******* hate Subway. Bread is disgusting, I associate the smell that the one in Ames on Welch had next to the tattoo parlor with all of them and Jared is the single most annoying "pitch man" in all of TV.
Subway is gross, and if my wife ever tried to bring it home, she might take a bag of oranges to the torso.
The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come. -

Just another one of my guilty pleasures. Say what you will, but "The Situation" has to be one of the most entertaining reality television personalities ever. The guy kills me. I laughed my *** off last night when he was placing the order for food and insisted that his name was "The Situation"

I was on vacation last week at my family's cabin in Minnesota and had an excellent time. Now that I'm back at work I've been as productive this week as this guy: ∞
