I just read this and its just tragic. My heart goes out to these families. My folks rode motorcycles for a number of years and they had a few close calls and that was hard enough to deal with. This is just terrible.
I hate hearing these stories. I ride a motorcycle, and so do my parents and they were traveling in this area on Sunday headed to Sturgis.

Stories like this are exactly why I will never ride my motorcycle on a road that has more than 1 lane or a speed limit over 55. It's just not worth the risk.
Sources tell KMA News three of the riders were from Glenwood and the other from Nebraska; the four are said to be of the American Legion Riders who led the soldiers out of town from Shenandoah Sunday August 1.
This story is literally making me sick. You only hope that this story inspires people to be better and realize their actions result in consequences that affect more than just themselves.
Please people, if you drink don't drive. Just don't ever do it!
I've had and rode my motorcycle for the last 10 years. The only things that i have feared have been deer and drunk drivers. I wish that people would read stories like this and really take it to heart. Do'nt drive when you've been drinking.
