A guy from my high school (who is a huge Hawk fan, but never attended the U of I) posted this. Talk about kicking us while we're down.

Yep, fun was had at iowa's expense a couple years ago.....i recall getting a couple emails with the UI team sandbagging, with a caption that had something about a chain gang. this is probably actually our karma.

I think it was actually a picture of criminals in their striped suits with a caption about the Iowa team sandbaggin. Very funny as I recall.

Whether it's ISU or I of U, I think it's terrible to get a chuckle out of either town's misfortune.

I went to HN this afternoon and the huge majority of the Hawks were really concerned and respectful. It's not just ISU, it's Ames: it's where a lot of people work and live.
