    high school football

    This year I heard that high school football in Iowa starts on August 20th, which is pretty early. If you follow HS Football, what level: 8-Man, A, 1A, 2A, 3A, or 4A? I follow 4A although I'm familiar with some of the 3A schools. Who do you think the register is going to rank number 1 in the preseason in 4A? I heard Dowling might get ranked No. 1.

    I use to follow 3A but now with New Hampton moving down and Solon moving up I guess I have to learn about 2A.. I would say Dowling would be a pretty good bet on the top ranking.

    Valley v. Dolwing August 20th. Go Dowling!

    Outside of following the Maroons, the only other team I following is my alma mater Dike-New Hartford which fluctuates between 1A and 2A.
