    Re: Breaking into a garage

I've been told to take of the red cords since, if you have the little windows, it is easy to reach the cord. I've never seen this method with the wire.

I haven't looked at the release closely but is there a way you can pin it or secure it to prevent outside release?

Edit: I went and looked at my garage. There is no way to get a wire in an move it up to the release. My garage seals differently and tighter than the one in the video.

Liars, it took them at least 12 seconds.

Or you could just break a window. If they want in, they'll get in.

    Re: Breaking into a garage

i bet those people are from Rockford, Illinois. People from Rockford know how to break into anything.
The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come.

Pretty easy to break in through a garage door. If you are strong enough, you can just lift open the door even if it has an opener. It will open about 2 feet, enough to crawl under and go push the opener.

    Re: Breaking into a garage

I am installing a new circuit into my electrical panel. I will run a triple phase line and attach it to that lever in my garage. If anyone touches the lever with a metal wire or hook they will be turned into a pile of ashes. I will keep a dust buster in the garage as well.

Better yet...We ALWAYS keep the garage door locked. I know this because I got locked in the garage one night during a power outage and couldn't get in to the kitchen. It took me 30 minutes to realize that I could pull the stupid lever on the door.

    Beer was involved.
