Anyone interested in a bags tournament during tailgates?
First, an apology. I'm sorry, but as much as I love to play, I just can't call it "cornhole" with a straight face. That name is a marketer's worst nightmare.
But I digress. I'm interested in trying to start a series of bags tournaments to be held during tailgates. I haven't thought it through but I wanted to post this to gauge interest among Cyclone fans and solicit feedback.
I envision 3-4 sets of boards (or more, if we can get them) and a limited number of entries so we can control how long it would take. We could either set times for each matchup or send people a text when it's their turn to play and give them 10 minutes to show up. That way we minimize people standing around and waiting.
And of course there would be an entry fee and payouts.
Anyone interested? And any suggestions on how to run it? All feedback is welcome.

I would definitely be interested in a bags tourney. We just finished our new bags set, pretty sweet, if I had a pic on my work computer I would upload one.

I would be interested in seeing it if you posted it. I'm about to build my own set. Hoping to get it done in time for the first game but that might be a stretch due to other commitments. I've found some great resources on building them but I haven't had time to sit down and map out a plan.

I would be in for it. Also have extra sets of boards to use if needed. Are we going teams or singles for this??? Either way be a fun way to meet others.

When doing this have rules and how you are going to score the games on paper. Also have someone that is sober and not playing keeping score. I have saw best friends all most throw down over a point when drunk playing bags, just think what could happen if you dont know the guys you are playing.
