I heard it was kids from Des Moines Christian, trying to setup Valley. And they would have gotten away with it if it wasn't for you meddling detectives!

So these kids happened to be walking by the Dowling practice field and tripped. Some gasoline poured out of one kid's pocket and doused several buildings. At the same time his buddy, who was walking behind him slipped on the gas and a peice of flint he had in his pocket flew in the air, flew randomly around the field striking metal at the percise location of every building.

How often do things like this happen to Valley rivals and it not be Valley kids? I went to Valley in the 90's and remember one year where someone painted a large "V" on Urbandale's field the week of that game.

Couldn't they do something like this instead:

your description would indicate that you think this was an accident. it seems like an 'on-purpose'-a really stupid 'on-purpose'. Big difference-yet no matter how some here may try to spin, clearly not scripted, coordinated, and supported by "valley".
