NFL Network now on my cable

My cable provider (Suddenlink) has added NFL Network & NFL Redzone to it's Sports Tier package. Just found it last night.

An agreement was met between NFL Network and the National Cable Television Cooperative (which includes most of the US Cable companies):

NFL Network agrees to deal with National Cable Television Cooperative - ESPN

I believe Mediacom is part of the cooperative so it may be coming to Iowa too.

I hope mediacom doesnt do this if it has to be anywhere else than a sports tier. Just like the big 10 network, i dont need another thing to raise the bill that i wont watch (i watch much more college football, and what NFL i can get from the other networks is more than enough)

thing of it is, all of the major cable networks (namely Cox & Comcast along with MidCo in Sioux Falls ) has NFL Network on a digital package. May not be a digital sports package, but to get the NFL Network, you gotta pay for a digital receiver and then pay another fee for the digital programming.

It's freaking awesome and coverage you can't get from FOX or whoever else is doing the broadcast.
