Re: Did I go to far?
Guess what happens the next time you wear Cyclone gear to her house.

Re: Did I go to far?
She has done it before and been asked by my wife to knock it off. Today I took it as a lack of respect towards me, so without kicking her out and ******* eveyone off I did the next best thing.

Re: Did I go to far?
If Hawk fans want to be smug little ******** show 'em a little "Cyclone hospitality."
I'm really tired of being the nation's meekest fan base. This inferiority complex has to stop. If you think an Ohio State fan wouldn't kick out someone decked in Michigan garb, you're crazy.
Screw the Hawks, and you can tell 'em I said so.

Sounds like she has a little bit of the typical Hawk fan arrogance in her. I'm guessing she's also a typical Hawk fan in that she didn't go to Iowa, has never been to a game in Iowa City or can't name more than three or four starters

Re: Did I go to far?
I would've forced her inside a burlap sack and beaten her with reeds. Pretty standard, really.

Re: Did I go to far?
Completely warranted IMO.

Re: Did I go to far?
Not at all, sir! To anyone who thinks this is way too far, try growing up in Cedar Rapids and then you'd understand.

Re: Did I go to far?
If the present she gave your son was something hawk related, you didn't go far enough.

Re: Did I go to far?
My brother-in-law wears his Iowa stuff in my house, and it's okay - he actually DID go to Iowa and he's not a complete d-bag about it (he was actually getting embarrassed by the tavern hok in our presence during the Cy-Hawk game last year).
This lady, on the other hand, is acting like a complete d-bag and deserves what she's getting.

Re: Did I go to far?
If your sister-out-law has worn such items to your house in the past and insists on continuing, why not just stop inviting her to your house?
