Need a New Driver

I golfed in a tournament yesterday and the head of my driver broke off on the 3rd hole. I didn't get mad and slam it our anything.

I am looking for a new driver and seriously looking at the TaylorMade R9. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I play the TaylorMade Burner and love it. You can get a Burner for about $200. The R9 will probably cost you $3-400, but don't think you can go wrong either way.

I got a R9 this year and 1/2 through the season I switched back to my old Titleist. I would recommend the Titlesist 909........they should be going on cleareance soon, because the new Titleist driver comes out this fall/winter.

I don't live in DSM and no where near a good golf shop.

What kind of drive was it that broke? If you liked it send it into the manufacturer. There is a good chance they will fix it or replace it

I wanted a R9 SuperTri but they were pretty pricey.

i just got a used R7 limited off ebay for $75.00. I churn out a new used driver every year. I'm looking for another for under $100 to compare and keep one.

I know a guy with an R9 and he bombs it.

I just got an r9 super tri the other day. Have not played a round with it yet, but I cannot wait to. Best part about it, total cost was $0. I love vendor swag!
