Calling this team lazy is about the dumbest take I've seen all year, and that's saying something on CF. They may make mistakes, but its not because of a lack of effort.
Unfortuately with Ward having 3 fouls we might see a lot of that BRE in the second half

I would just like to remind all of you people who think we are done becuase we are down by 10 at half that you are opening yourself to some pretty big ridicule at the end of this game. Calm down and see what happens. We have made adjustments before and I believe they can do it again. Things came WAY too easy for them in the first half. Come out and punch them in the face and see what happens.
Domask’s signature move is back you down and then create space with a forearm to your throat.

Ward absolutely embarrassing not boxing out on the missed free throw to allow Illinois to go back to the line.
If even 1/3rd of the bunnies and layups went in, we’d be tied. Our D is holding strong despite their earlier hot streak. We‘re lucky they’re missing FTs as that’s keep us in the game.
Their defense is basically glued to our guys and there is 0 separation even on good screens. Get someone else to score and we’re in this. That’s says a lot about how good our D is really doing. But the first 5 of the second half we need to get somebody else involved on offense.

Yeah just tight at both ends and when that happens nothing goes well.
Hopefully Illinois starts to get a little tired and their defense returns to the mean.

If we had fewer fouls and down 10 I'd feel better, but I think Illinois actually pulls away in the second half.
IDK what the Cyclones are doing on offense, but they've blown it badly. So little ball movement and off ball movement. Even the in-bounds plays the guys are standing still FFS.
I think Illinois pulls away hard in the second half and wins by 20. I'm not happy about it, but I haven't seen a single thing that gives me any optimism.
If only College Basketball would allow some PT for redshirts without burning a redshirt and we had JT Rock with his great size down low for a couple of baskets, then we win the game.
