She was giving an invalid fair catch sign. When you say she extended her forearm are you referring to Marshall or Edwards?
Because Edwards had at least one arm at her side as Marshall was extending both of her arms as she flailed.

So the UConn player moving instead of being stationary and having her feet about 5 feet apart is a flop/acting job?Now it looks like more of a flop/acting job to me in real time.

A whole lot of rationalization going on. Imagine if it was the opposite situation, and the call had gone against Iowa, but it was the correct call. This board would probably mock Iowa fans for constantly complaining about a “correct” call. But instead the correct call went against Iowa, and people here have to rationalize why it should not be called.Wild that people think that isn’t an illegal screen.
Be careful, you got a whole lot of Dumb reactions coming your way.I guess it’s really easy to see who doesn’t understand basic rules of basketball. It was a textbook illegal screen.
You said it’s MORE of an act/flopping. While the Iowa player did sell it, the extension of the forearm was not the violation. So not sure what your point is in saying it could be both. That part of the play was not the foul. Why can’t it be both?
Holy **** I was just about to post this same thing...if the refs were going to tighten up the game at the end where was the obvious offensive foul on CC when she drove in and pushed off ?Can we get frame by frame shots of CC’s blatant push off down at the other end right after this too? If we’re going to be fair…. let’s be fair.
The issue is they weren't calling that exact same thing throughout the game....CC's one three in front of her bench had at least 2 of the same screens set that weren't called.I guess it’s really easy to see who doesn’t understand basic rules of basketball. It was a textbook illegal screen.

Which I'm fine with as long as that carries over throughout the rest of the remaining timeI'm sure the reason will be because 'you can't call that in that moment'.
