AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State athletics department and the ISU Letterwinners Club honored 48 Cyclone student-athletes from 10 sports in the atrium of the Jacobson Athletics Building Tuesday evening who lettered for the first time during the 2009-2010 academic year. Since being implemented by Iowa State athletics director Jamie Pollard and embraced by the Letterwinners Club, the Letter Award Ceremony has gained a special spot in the hearts of former and current Cyclones.
