AMES, Iowa – Iowa State's women's cross country team made giant strides during its 2010 season as the squad recorded an eighth-place finish at the NCAA Cross Country Championships Nov. 22 in Terre Haute, Ind. The performance was the second-best NCAA finish by a women's cross country squad in school history, following only a runner-up performance in 1985.
