Second Half Run Propels Cyclones Past Huskers
AMES, Iowa - If ever a game was a tale of two halves, it was No. 16 Iowa State's 64-43 Big 12 victory over Nebraska Tuesday in Hilton Coliseum. Kelsey Bolte had 22 points to lead a Cyclone tsunami that overwhelmed the Huskers in the second half. By the time Bolte hit her fourth trey for a 64-37 Iowa State advantage the Cyclones, who trailed 26-21 at halftime, had outscored Nebraska 43-11 after intermission. The Cyclones are now 13-3 overall and 1-1 in the Big 12. Nebraska falls to 10-6 and 0-2. The win was Iowa State's 19th straight homecourt victory.
