AMES, Iowa – Iowa State men's golfer Eric Lindquist has been elected president of the Iowa State Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) for the 2008 – 2009 school year.* ISU women's basketball player, Shellie Mosman, has been elected as vice-president of community relations.* Gymnast Melanie Tham has been elected as vice-president of special events.SAAC takes an active role in providing Cyclone student-athletes with opportunities in charitable work in Central Iowa.* Throughout the school year, SAAC organizes a family Thanksgiving basket program, a winter holiday Adopt-A-Family program and other special events on campus.*
