AMES, Iowa- The Iowa State women's golf team had a strong showing at the 2008 Iowa Women's Amateur last week in Pella, Iowa. Three of the top four placewinners were current or former Cyclones, as junior-to-be Pennapa Pulsawath won the prestigious event by carding a 219 total (74-70-75) at Bos Landen Golf Club. Kendra Hanson, who finished her ISU career in the spring of 2008, placed second, two strokes back of Pulsawath with a 221. Kristin Paulson, a native of Ottumwa, who will be a freshman next season, finished fourth at 229.
