NEW ORLEANS* –* Iowa State's Lisa Koll has been named the 2008 Women's Division I Outdoor Track Scholar-Athlete of the Year by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
ISU's Jenna Caffrey, Britta Christofferson and Leia Jackson were named to national women's all-academic track squad.* The Cyclone women's track team earned national academic honors for posting a team grade-point average of 3.30.* Iowa State's Hillary Bor and Kiel Uhl were named to the USTFCCA Division I all-academic squad and the men's team was recognized as an academic All-America team for its 3.15 GPA.
