AMES, Iowa – Otto Stowe saw a different Iowa State University in his first visit back to campus in over 30 years. The gridiron star was in town as one of nine former Cyclone greats who were enshrined into the ISU Letterwinners Club Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2008. All nine inductees, including Cathy Carroll Oerter (track and field), Steve Carson (track & field), Robert Hess (wrestling), J. Elaine Hieber (administration), Bob Locker (baseball), Al Nacin (wrestling), Frank Randall (administration) and Marcus Robertson (football), received their Hall of Fame medal at a special ceremony Friday night at the Gateway Hotel.
