IOWA CITY, Iowa – It was a game of opportunities for both Iowa State and Iowa.* In the end, Iowa made the big plays when it had to and defeated the Cyclones, 17-5, to claim the Hy-Vee Cy-Hawk trophy Saturday afternoon at Kinnick Stadium.The Cyclone offense got inside the Iowa 30-yard line six times, but was only able to come away with three points. The Cyclone defense held the Hawkeyes to just one offensive touchdown and intercepted two passes. With the win, Iowa takes a 3-2 lead in the 2008-09 Hy-Vee Cy-Hawk Series.
