AMES, Iowa – Former Iowa State football player Bill Marsau remembers little about getting his Iowa State letter jacket, though he now cherishes that tangible memory of his time as a student-athlete.* A veterinarian today, Marsau is also the president of the ISU Letterwinners Club.* The Club awarded new letter jackets Monday to 68 ISU student-athletes from the sports of women's and men's basketball, men's and women's golf, gymnastics, softball, swimming and diving, tennis, men's and women's track and field and wrestling. Marsau spoke to the newest members of the ISU Letterwinners Club at a Jacobson Building banquet and said the semi-annual event fulfilled a need.
