AMES, Iowa – The Houston Texans of the NFL announced Monday that Iowa State offensive lineman Doug Dedrick is one of 12 free agents signed by the team a day after the NFL Draft. Dedrick started all 24 games of the last two ISU seasons after transferring from Scottsdale (Ariz.) Community College. Dedrick was Iowa State's 2007 Newcomer of the Year.
