AMES, Iowa – Future Cyclone tennis player Ellie Nixon won silver in doubles at the Iowa Class 2A girls' tennis state championships last weekend in Iowa City. She teamed up with Libby Carris as the duo from Roosevelt High School won four matches to advance to the finals.
