AMES, Iowa – Iowa State junior libero Ashley Mass has been named the Big 12's Defensive Player of the Week for the fifth time this season and 11th time in her career, giving her more Big 12 weekly awards than any other ISU student-athlete. Mass passes former men's basketball player Marcus Fizer (1998-2000), who finished his career with 10 weekly awards.
