AMES, Iowa—The No. 14 Iowa State gymnastics team made a ferocious comeback effort on No. 17 Michigan in its final event, but the Cyclones had to settle for a split in the three-team competition. ISU defeated BYU 195.625-192.050 and fell to Michigan 196.000-195.625 Friday evening in Hilton Coliseum in front of 1,695 boisterous fans.
