AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State women swept the top five spots in the weight throw, highlighting competition for the Cyclones at the inaugural Cyclone Open. Sophomore Laishema Hampton led the group with a first place finish (57-05.00), her third championship of the season, while junior Britta Christofferson and sophomore Danielle Frere finished second and third, respectively. Freshman Hayli Bozarth finished fourth, while junior Emily Nugent finished fifth.
