LINCOLN, Neb. – The 13th-ranked Iowa State women's basketball team put up a valiant fight without leading scorer Alison Lacey, but the third-ranked Nebraska Huskers were too much as they earned a 60-50 win over ISU Wednesday night at the Bob Devaney Sports Center. The Cyclones dropped to 19-5 overall and 7-4 in the Big 12, while Nebraska improved on their perfect season for a 24-0 record.
