AMES, Iowa – A college football coach's life is a nomadic one. Plot the career path of nearly any collegiate gridiron coach on a map and you will find a byzantine kaleidoscope of cross-country moves, some for a brief time. Among the long list of Iowa State assistant coaches, past and present, is current ISU secondary coach Bob Elliott. Elliott's contributions to the Cyclone football legacy are truly unique as he is in the first months of a third term in a third different decade under a third Iowa State head coach.
