With Microsoft being based in Washington, they gave the Storm $ to advertise Bing on their jerseys. They are not the only WNBA team to do this (I think Phoenix has Lifelock on their jerseys); I do not know if all the WNBA teams are doing it.
It's the Seattle "Storm," not the "Storms." Just like the Orlando "Magic," not "Magics."
