    Omaha Nighthawks

Anybody going to go to Omaha and watch any Nighthawk games this year at Rosenblatt?

It's interesting who has signed to play with the Nighthawks; i.e. Jeff Garcia, Maurice Clarett, Ahman Green, etc... So, it should be interesting to watch at least.

I was seriously thinking about it, but sounds like it will be sold out, if it isn't already.

Yes it is sold out. It is the first time ever that a UFL game has been sold out. Must be because Nelly is the halftime show... or that it holds only about 25k.....

Did anyone else notice that Virgina team doesn't even have a name?

I would go to these games if they were clone to me in Indiana. Look at the rosters... it's like a collection of old NFL misfit toys... It'll be awesome. There are some guys in there that were VERY good NFL players at one point...

Who wants to start a UFL fantasy football league?!

Might have to for next year for me to get my FFL fix if there is a NFL lockout.

The previous league attendance record was 14,384 so the 24k is impressive.

I would think about going, but everyone will probably just wear Husker gear.

I was thinking about going down to Rosenblatt to see if I could pick up a couple tickets outside. Worst case, I end up going down town. Beer goes in my belly either way.

    Re: Omaha Nighthawks

I'm going to the game October 2nd when they play California. My old roommate from UNO plays for California and I haven't seen him play since he was a Raider back in 2003, so I am excited for that. Luckily my uncle is a season ticket holder and I can get in.

I bet though once the newness wares off, the games will not be sold out, so tickets will be easier to get.

Are you talking about Chris Cooper? I played in the Nebraska Shrine Bowl with him. Guy was a beast.
