If Texas loses out on Cliff Lee, they could look at trading for Greinke. There are no other high-level FA SPs out there, so if the Yankees get Lee, they'll have to look at other options. Isn't King Felix a FA?

There are no other high-level FA SPs out there, so if the Yankees get Lee, they'll have to look at other options. i understand arbitration and how it all works. i stand by my point that we need to lock in Elvis long term rather than 1 or 2 years of avoiding arbitration. we need to give him 7+ years. and i'm hoping we get that done before the 2012 season. or at least before jeter retires and the yankees come lurching.

I don't like a lot about baseball anymore, but one thing I love is the fact that Money doesn't always buy you Championships. One thing I've always said about Baseball, it's about a cohesive team playing loose and having fun. When players start yapping, it's usually the first sign that you are not having fun.
