ESPN reporting Brad Childress says Favre has stress fracture in ankle. Will wear walking boot. Will not have surgery.

He was obviously faking it!!

I find it unreal that people question the guys heart and toughness. Say what you want about the man and his off the field issues but when he plays he is the toughest SOB on the field.

a painful to watch ugly dance. had such high hopes and now the road gets tough, hopefully there won't be any more blown calls costing them games the rest of the way

Favre probably just whacked his ankle with a baseball bat after the game in order to create an injury.

He will hobble out there for the first series just to get the consecutive start.

I believe they have a bye this week, that will give him another week to get healthy.

I wouldnt say toughest SOB on the field, MAYBE toughest QB, but that could be a stretch. I know there are plenty of linemen that have just as much, if not more, prblems and they keep playing.

Favre is waaaay too over dramatic. Like someone said earlier, he'll sprint down the field after a TD throw. But after an INT, he acts like they need to bring the stretcher out on the field for him.

Which means Sage should be starting if not for an incompetent head coach who had to keep his own ****** QB pick on the roster because he didn't want to acknowledge his guy wasn't better.
